Kyle Ference graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Planning from the University of Northern British Columbia in 2007. His self-directed theme was Urban Conservation, focusing on environmental sciences and planning. He also holds a diploma in Biological Sciences (Renewable Resources) from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. Strongly interested in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Kyle has recently acquired his GIS Advanced Diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT). He is motivated by a keen desire to combine GIS skills with his previous knowledge for practical application in the fields of planning, urban conservation and environmental issues.
